Finally, an alternative browser that makes sense!

All of your computer geek friends have been telling you to stop using Microsoft Internet Explorer for years.

Let me guess... You tried other browsers and went back to IE because you couldn't find one that you liked.

If that sounds familiar, I urge you to try Firefox.

Why Switch?

It is no secret that Microsoft has become lazy with the browser wars of the late nineties behind them. Updates for IE have seemed to come to a complete halt in the last few years while exploits and security flaws are still coming full-force.

Why Firefox?

I used Netscape back in the mid 90's and switched to MSIE when they started bundling it with Windows. It seemed faster than Netscape and had some nice features. I never looked back.

Well, things have changed. I have known for years that using MSIE is a security risk, but continued to use it for the same reasons that I always used it; It seems faster and has some nice features. blah blah blah. Firefox takes a fraction of a second longer to start than IE but is way faster loading pages. As far as features go, you can't beat it. There are tons of plug-ins and skins on the Firefox web site.

If your one of those people who continue to use MSIE for whatever reason, just download Firefox and try it out for a day. You'll be glad you did.
